The focus of this text is to present the reader with uesful and important features of the oracle 10g database. The book covers a number of administrative, tuning, and networking topic. The book approaches the subject using a hands-on approach giving the reader an oppornity to understand the material and master concepts by implementing them on the computer. As database administrators must be familiar with the graphical administrative tools and command-line syntax, this book tries to present almost all topics using both interfaces.
